"modul space" and "human space cubes" from Bosse Design provide the structure for the new extension of Pass Stanztechnik. The seating is the same as in the existing company building, with "Effe" and "Cubo" from Züco.

Offenhausen – September 2010. Pass Stanztechnik AG, which is based in the town of Creußen in the German region of Upper Franconia, is regarded as a specialist in the manufacture of CNC punching tools. Whether you require standard tools or standardised special tools, the good reputation of the company, which has been producing precision tools of the highest quality for nearly 30 years now, extends worldwide. The company's comprehensive supply network delivers products to customers right around the globe and has transformed the former tool supplier into a highly regarded partner to the sheet-metal-processing trade.

A little while ago, the company's continuous expansion meant that it was necessary to construct a new, two-storey extension. The company's management and administrative staff have recently moved into this building and are now based here. There are around 20 workstations which are organised around an intelligently structured "Open Space" which contains the reception, offices for managers, individual and team workstations, meeting rooms and conference facilities.

The requirement for the specialist retailer, the renowned Bayreuth office of the company "bsk büro + designhaus", which is also responsible for all of the planning work, was, in respect of the administrative work, to create different group workstations which do not have any walls or fabric partition walls but offer a sufficient degree of visual privacy. The result is zones which are divided up by transparent system modules in combination with the tried-and-tested "human space cubes", self-contained, flexible spaces which offer a very persuasive choice thanks to their sound insulation, sound absorption, temperature stability and supply of fresh air.

The universal furnishing system was implemented with Bosse "modul space", supporting tube system furniture with lots of unique selling points such as individual freedom of design thanks to a variety of different surfaces and functions.

The people who were responsible at Pass AG opted for a classic design in black wood veneer, combined with transparent and satin-finished glass surfaces. The straight-lined, timeless design of "modul space" gives both employees and visitors a sense of high quality, flexibility and versatility.

The seating furniture comes from the Swiss manufacturer Züco, which like Bosse is a brand of the Dauphin HumanDesign Group. The workstations are optionally equipped with "Effe", a timeless-modern product line offering great ease of operation, sophisticated ergonomics and a clear, technical design. Or with "Cubo", a swivel chair for "dynamic seating".
