Offenhausen – October 2011. With its distinctive design and subtle choice of materials, Ovalo GmbH’s new state-of-the-art building is geared to long-term future development and aims to reflect the company’s core expertise, namely the precision industrialisation of customer-specific transmissions and mechatronic drive systems for large-scale series production.

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harmonic Drive AG (the technological leader in the field of high-reduction, backlash-free and zero-backlash transmission systems), the expanding company focuses on developing precision drive systems for automotive transmissions, servomotors, angle sensors and braking systems for use in large-scale series applications. Three years after the company was established, production was moved to Limburg an der Lahn, Hesse. At its current site, it has access to cutting-edge, expandable infrastructures as well as up to 20,000 square metres of production space should it wish to diversify into other areas within the automotive sector. Given the functional atmosphere throughout the company, the seating from the DHDG’s Dauphin and Züco brands fit in perfectly.
