Authorities moving with the times: After two years’ construction and renovation work, the Mühldorf am Inn District Administrative Office, headquarters of the authorities for the district of the same name in the Upper Bavaria administrative region, is now shining in a fresh new look. The new premises reflect the authorities’ self-image as a modern service centre providing "services for local residents". This is complemented by ergonomic seating from the Dauphin HumanDesign Group: “Highway” and “Shape Elan” by Dauphin and “dat-o” by Trendoffice.
Offenhausen – November 2011. The complete modernisation of the District Administrative Office in Mühldorf am Inn, Southern Germany was possible thanks to the “Konjunkturpaket II” stimulus package. A total of €5.3 million was invested in the new infrastructure, with €1.75 million coming from the German Federal Government’s subsidy package. Adding a new floor and installing a new environmentally friendly heating system in the main building, refurbishing the health office to make it more energy efficient, demolishing the disaster control building, installing energy-saving electrical and building systems and fitting a photovoltaic system were just a few of the many tasks carried out between September 2009 and August 2011 in order to get the offices fit for the future.
This has resulted in modern premises which reflect the District Administrative Office’s customer-oriented service principle. The administrative authorities’ offices, where around 350 members of staff diligently pursue the family-friendly district’s regional development goals, are now characterised by their light colours and pleasant, environmentally-friendly surroundings.
In the large meeting hall, Dauphin’s “HighWay” range combines ergonomic functions and clever design. The aluminium frame with its tensioned mesh fabric and the attractive base are particularly striking. The most famous member of the successful family of chairs is without doubt the “HighWay” office swivel chair, whose characteristic backrest contour is reminiscent of the human spinal column. In Mühldorf am Inn, a combination of conference swivel chairs and cantilever models ensure comfort when sitting.
The new offices are furnished with swivel chairs from Dauphin’s “Shape Elan” range and cantilever chairs from Trendoffice’s “dat-o” series. Both ranges of chairs are designed with ergonomics and versatility in mind. The “Shape Elan” office chair features the patented “Syncro Activ Balance” mechanism. Developed in accordance with the principles of New Ergonomics, it goes well beyond the typical DIN standards. With their breathable, moisture-regulating mesh fabric, the visitor chairs in the “dat-o” range provide support for the back and offer an unrivalled level of comfort when sitting.
