Binder GmbH is the global market leader for high-tech cupboards used for temperature control, air-conditioning, incubation and simulation of environmental conditions. In June 2005, this rapidly expanding company of ficially opened a new research and development centre at its site in Tuttlingen. Workplaces for 100 of the total of 250 employees were set up in the stylish building featuring a modern glass and stainless steel facade and a futuristic energy concept. The rooms were structured and organised using the “modul space” system from Bosse. The successful result of this is an open spatial design in which, in accordance with the wishes of the company founder Peter Binder, the principle of teamwork with flat hierarchies can be implemented in an optimum fashion.
