Researchers sit in comfort thanks to @Just and Go Ahead from Dauphin – a new dimension in ergonomics.
Clariant (Schweiz) AG is a sister company of Clariant AG and operates the site in Muttenz. The company directors as well as the divisional directors of the Textile, Leather and Paper Chemicals Division are based at the site in Muttenz. Mainly dyes together with special and industrial chemicals are produced at the company’s Muttenz site. *
In October 2003, Clariant (Schweiz) AG in Reinach, near Muttenz, began renting part of the TechCenter Reinach. Two business units of the Textile, Leather and Paper Chemicals Division are housed in the TechCenter Reinach. These business units are involved in research and development as well as marketing. The laboratories, office rooms and conference rooms used by the staff of approximately 220 people were furnished accordingly.
Clariant (Schweiz) AG’s aim here was to design the workplace surroundings in a comfortable style in order to promote a feeling of well-being among the employees in the workplace. Clariant (Schweiz) AG decided on innovative seating from the Dauphin HumanDesign® Group. The office-furniture manufacturer with a global presence from Offenhausen near Nuremberg found in two product lines the ideal solution for the ergonomic requirements of Clariant’s employees.
@Just (design: Manfred Elzenbeck, Klaus Haar) was chosen for two large conference rooms. Thanks to their backrests which are 51 cm high, the upholstered visitors’ chairs are extremely comfortable. Even if meetings go on a little longer than expected, the user remains in top shape the whole time thanks to the ergonomically-shaped backrest. In the cantilever and four-legged-model versions, @Just therefore fits perfectly into the furnishing scheme.
In the case of the furnishings for the office rooms and meeting rooms, the pleasant appearance alone of the Go Ahead range (design: Dauphin Design-Team) creates a feeling of relaxation in the workplace. Furthermore, by choosing Go Ahead swivel chairs which offer unique features and are unequalled in technical terms, Clariant is one step ahead in ergonomic terms too. The Syncro®-Dynamic-Feature with worldwide-patented weight balance and large opening angle (backrest tilt of up to 128°) ensures perfect ergonomic seated comfort for a dynamic, upright seated posture.
