The European Parliament opted for furniture solutions from the Dauphin HumanDesign® Group when planning its offices and conference rooms. Since then, over 5,000 chairs from Dauphin’s Cento Miglia range of products have been in use in Strasbourg in the glass palace designed by the Paris-based team of architects Architecture Studio as well as in Brussels and Luxembourg. The striking design is synonymous with determination and assertiveness. The woven mesh backrest fabric is a symbol of transparency and openness. The design aspects of these chairs enter into a democratic alliance with their functions. As a result, when it comes to ergonomics, conditions at the monthly plenary sessions could not be better. When in their offices, the 785 members of parliament sit on swivel chairs which can be adjusted to suit their individual needs and requirements thanks to their sophisticated features, some of which are patented. At the same time, the factions, committees, delegations and other bodies in Strasbourg, Luxembourg and Brussels also enjoy sitting on Alpha, Zeta and @Just chairs.
