Since 2006, the North East Tower Center (NET) has been attracting the attention of a large number of companies and investors to the city of Padua in north-east Italy. The general contractor Edilbasso Real Estate worked together here with the Swiss Architect Prof. Aurelio Galfetti to create the basis for a new European trading and business centre. What is immediately striking is the multifunctional building complex at the twenty-storey Red Tower. The rigid, sober architecture is characterised by steel, glass and aluminium. The individual floors can be rented as a whole entity or in sections and customers can design them to be the way they want them. In his own office areas, Edilbasso shows an example of a furnishing concept which is oriented around the architectural style. The recommendation envisages glass walls with integrated “modul space” components from Bosse, sold by the interiors designers of Padua, Ambiente Ufficio. The cupboard elements can be used on both sides and also provide a visual barrier. In functional and aesthetic terms, they conform to the desire for a homogeneous overall image.
